Ducati Confirms Loss of CT Dealers

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

Ducati has confirmed that it is currently without a dealer in Connecticut as Max BMW in Brookfield and Gengras in East Hartford have quit selling Italian brand.

“Max BMW didn’t want to carry Ducati as it didn’t fit their business model, which leaves a big hole for us in CT,” said John Paolo Canton, public relations manager for Ducati North America, in an email this afternoon to RIDE-CT. “Gengras really wasn’t doing much in the way of volume, so we are looking for a quality dealer to replace Cliff’s, and then we will revisit the rest of the state from there.”

Canton’s mention of “Cliff’s” is a reference to Cliff’s Cycle Revolution, which sold out to Max BMW last month.
