MILWAUKEE – After 44 years, Harley-Davidson has released a new flat-track model for racing. The XG750G will make its official debut Sunday with the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Factory Team at the AMA Pro Flat Track Springfield in Illinois.

The new XG750R flat tracker is powered by a 750cc Revolution X V-twin engine, with the motor and frame developed by Vance & Hines Motorsports.

“After decades of flat-track racing success behind the Harley-Davidson XR750 flat track motorcycle, we knew it was time to develop the next-generation Harley-Davidson to compete in one of the best spectator racing sports out there today,” said Harley-Davidson racing manager Kris Schoonover said in a press release.
