Polaris Targets H-D With Addition of Indian

Polaris is looking to expand its market share and take a bite out of Harley-Davidson’s when it begins full-scale production of Indian motorcycles in 2013, in addition to its Victory line. The company views Indian as being a heritage marque with classic styling that has a better chance of luring potential Harley buyers than the more performance-oriented Victory brand. The “Star Tribune” newspaper in Minneapolis went to the factory in Spirit Lake, Iowa and has a look at Polaris’ plans here.
