Triumph Introduces Customer Support

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

What’s the biggest gripe when calling “customer support?” My guess is that it’s talking to “Bob” in some far off land. It’s not that Bob isn’t knowledgeable, polite or capable – unlike “Peggy” in the memorable Discover Card commercials – it’s just that he’s so hard to understand that conversation is impossible.

Triumph customer support

Which raises a question about a new 24/7 customer support service being introduced by Triumph North America. Where’s the call center? In Thailand where Triumph builds some of its bikes? Just asking.

The new service promises help for “roadside assistance, technical support or to just talk motorcycles.” The number is 1-888-284-6288. Here’s the video/commercial from Triumph:

The fact that the voice at the other end of the line in the video sounds American is encouraging, although it would have been nice to hear a bloke.
