RIDE-CT.com/Ride-NewEngland.com set a readership record in 2013 with the number of unique visitors to the website increasing nearly 58 percent (57.95 percent to be precise) and the number of page views rising nearly 30 percent (29.9 percent) over 2012.
According to Google Analytics, RIDE-CT.com/Ride-NewEngland logged 37,800 unique visitors and 78,122 page views. Not bad for an effort that’s housed in an attic office and which began as a simple complement to a local newspaper column.
The greatest growth came in the second half of 2013 and mirrored an effort to increase the amount of new content on the website and to expand its coverage area. We’ve added new writers and plan to add more in 2014. A redesign is also in the works, which should guarantee even larger readership gains in the coming year.
