Exact numbers were not disclosed, but electric-purveyor Zero Motorcycles today reported “record sales” for 2014 and said it’s “poised for dramatic growth in 2015.”

Zero Motorcycles CEO Richard Walker cited expansion into international markets as helping to boost sales. “From Indonesia to Israel to Thailand – and in our core 2015_zero-s_action-11_1680x1200_pressmarkets of North America and Europe – riders are embracing the advantages of our 100 percent electric motorcycles,” Walker said in a press release.

The company also reported “significant gains” in fleet sales. Zero began the year with 10 police departments in the U.S. using their models and ended 2014 with nearly 50 agencies using them, including the Los Angeles Police Department and the Philadelphia Fire Department.
