When Norton Motorcycles Ltd. recently announced the appointment of Dan Van Epps to lead its operation in the U.S. and roll out its first models in May 2011, the press release noted a Beacon Falls mailing address. Now, in an interview with the website throttlehand.com, Van Epps reveals that the iconic British brand may set up its U.S. headquarters in Connecticut.
“Norton will definitely be based on the East Coast, likely Connecticut in proximity to New York. Truth is that in today’s world, a company can be located almost anywhere. The East Coast allows easy access to major airports and the shortest commute to the UK. Communication and access were the key points of consideration for our location,” said Van Epps in the interview.
