LACONIA, NH – “Motor City Madman” Ted Nugent will headline the first-ever LaconiaFest Motorcycle Music Festival, which will run June 11-19 in conjunction with 93rd annual Laconia Motorcycle Week.
LaconiaFest will feature two stages and nine acres of attractions at the Weirs Beach Drive-In on Route 3. The event is expected to draw thousands of spectators each day with music from noon until midnight. There will also be food, beverages and a motorcycle showroom featuring 2017 models.
Nugent is slated to play June 17. Other acts at LaconiaFest will include Sevendust, Fuel, Buckcherry, Saving Abel, Dope, Adelitas Way, Biters, Bullethead, Apollo Under Fire, Next to None, Leaving Eden, Escape the Fate, Dead by Wednesday, Laura Comfort, Milow the Girl, Gunhouse Hill, Uncle Jack, Katet and Attika7.
Attika 7 features lead guitarist and bike builder Rusty Coones, who played Rane Quinn on the TV series “Sons of Anarchy.”
LaconiaFest is promising a surprise headliner on June 15. The event will also have Keith Sayer’s Freestyle Motocross and the Gin Gypsies Bar Team.
