MILAN, ITALY – No specs were divulged. No prices were was revealed. And the first model won’t be available until spring 2026. Royal Enfield also didn’t says whether it can be expected in the U.S. from the get-go, but what the company from India did do Monday was announce an electric spinoff brand called Flying Flea.
Using a “city+ platform” and offering “retro-futuristic styling,” Flying Flea’s first model will be the classic C6, inspired by Royal Enfield’s original gas-powered Flying Flea. That model from the 1940s was purpose-built during World War II to be airdropped via parachute.
The new sub-brand’s tank badge displays a parachute to recall its origin. Following the release of the C6 will be the scrambler-styled S6. The official launch of the Flying Flea division in Milan in advance of the annual EICMA show, which begins today.
Royal Enfield primarily produces small and medium-sized motorcycles. It has technical centers in India and the U.K.
Flying Flea hasn’t yet launched a full website for the brand, but has a static page on seven websites devoted to specific countries (including the U.S.) which have a picture of a motorcycle being airdropped.
