The state legislature in New Hampshire is once again trying to crack down on excessive motorcycle noise. A bill under consideration would reduce the allowable noise level from 106 decibels to 92 decibels. And that’s when idling. Law enforcement agencies turned out to support the bill at a Senate Transportation Committee hearing Thursday. Seacoastonline.com has the story here.

American Legion Post #2 is doing a bike blessing and poker run next Saturday (April 14) at 22 Hooker Court in Bristol. The blessing is at 10 a.m. and the poker run follows at 11:30. Cost is $15 for riders and $10 for passengers. For more info, email post2legionriders@gmail.com.

Squid alert. Stephen Colbert showed some video last night on the “Colbert Report” involving a rider in the Lincoln Tunnel. After watching it, I’m less worried about a kid doing wheelies in traffic than I am about the driver trying to record it while behind the wheel:
