More new 2013 releases from the world’s bike manufacturers and more to come:
Over the weekend in Las Vegas, Suzuki introduced to dealers the all-new, entry-level GW250. It’s a standard aimed to compete against Honda’s CBR250R and Kawasaki’s new Ninja 300.
Powered by a 248cc, parallel twin engine, the 2013 GW250 features three-spoke wheels and a chrome exhaust. It will only be available in one color – black. The price hasn’t been set, but it is expected to arrive in the spring.
Meanwhile, BMW today announced a new model as well – the F 800 GT.
With a 798cc, inline two-cylinder motor that puts out 90 horsepower, this newcomer takes the place of the F 800 ST. It has better ergonomics, and greater wind and weather protection.
The belt-driven F 800 GT comes with ABS standard. Seat has been reduced to 31.5 inches from 33.1 inches on the F 800 ST. No word yet on price or exact release date.
