Anthony and Lisa Sebastiano of Watertown, CT were headed to the Dalton, MA this morning to check out the American Legion post there and had stopped for a moment at the Becket General Store in nearby Becket. That’s where RIDE-CT.com spied Anthony’s handsome 1977 Harley-Davidson FXE Super Glide parked out front and just had to take a picture.
The couple was simply looking for “something to do” on what was a gorgeous Saturday and were able to so because of Anthony’s dedication his motorcycle, which he has owned for “10 years at least.”
Were it not for the “E.A.” license plate, it would have been easy to think that the Harley was much newer upon a quick glance. “I wrench it,” he said. “See how good you do when you wrench on it.” Sebastiano estimated that he’s put 40,000 miles on the bike since acquiring it. Nice find!

Following up on yesterday’s story about a service tech at New Haven Powersports receiving serious injuries while out test riding a scooter on July 19, the incident has gained
such widespread traction on the web since the “New Haven Independent” got a picture of victim Brooks MacQuarrie and reported some details that Snopes.com has now added a page about it.
Snopes.com is a website devoted to either verifying or debunking “urban legends, folklore, myths, rumors and misinformation.” Snopes.com labeled as currently “undetermined” the accuracy of information found in many Facebook posts, which RIDE-CT.com previously reported on.
