Videos posted last year on social media showed a motorcyclist routinely riding at high speeds on state roadways. State police have now charged a Bloomfield man who they claim is the rider. Arrested on Tuesday for reckless endangerment, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane was 22-year-old Brice A. Bennett.
A “Criminal Information Summary” released by state police says Bennett posted 72 videos of himself in 2024. It cites multiple videos of him “riding a motorcycle while using a helmet camera traveling at reckless speeds.”

The summary states, “Some of the videos show him traveling in excess of 150 miles per hour on various highways in Connecticut. In some of the videos the location was able to be identified as Connecticut because of the clearly marked signs that either showed the highway name or an exit sign.”
Videos of the speed demon rider appeared on YouTube and Instagram. The summary notes that “Bennett acknowledges his reckless and illegal driving behavior on Youtube (sic) and posts a disclaimer claiming that all the ‘content is filmed in Mexico.'”
Bennett was released from custody after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on April 29.
