BSA Owner in N.Y. Gets Back Stolen Rocket III

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

A 1969 BSA Rocket III is back with its rightful owner after having been stolen and eventually shipped to England. Mike Lullo of Batavia, NY bought the bike in 1975 and rode it regularly until it broke down. He then put the Beezer in the basement of a building he owned where it sat until one of Lullo’s tenants sold it for $150. It changed hands a couple of more times before winding up in England.

Howard Owens has the story of the bike’s travels and how Lullo never gave up hope of seeing the Rocket III again even though 14 years went by. Owens’ story is posted on The Batavian website. There are also loads of pictures of a truly handsome motorcycle.
