Buell Poised for Comeback?

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

He was kicked to the curb by Harley-Davidson, but it now appears that Erik Buell will finally release a new street machine from his new company, Erik Buell Racing. A week ago, Buell posted a teaser photo of a sport bike on his Facebook page and he has now confirmed that he’ll be speaking at a Motorcycle Hall of Fame fund-raiser breakfast on March 11 in Daytona, Fla. “For me, motorcycling has always been about the journey, about the people, about the ideas behind the machines, and it will be great to connect with enthusisasts at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fund-raiser. And who knows? I may have a surprise or two to announce by then,” said Buell in regards to the event. A return to production by Buell, who was an inductee into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2002, will certainly please his fans.
