Dierks Bentley Pens “Ride On”

They are song lyrics that any rider can relate to:

Give me a highway I can ride on,

  Miles and miles I get high on;

Hey, don’t bother leaving the light on,

  ‘Cause we ain’t coming back, we ain’t coming back.

Country music star Dierks Bentley sings those words in the song “Ride On,” which provides the theme for the new History channel reality show “Biker Battleground Phoenix.” The show premieres at 10 p.m. (EDT) on July 1 and centers on bike builders in the Valley of the Sun.

A rider himself and a native of Phoenix – he actually grew up in the ritzy suburb of Paradise Valley – Bentley was approached by History to write a foot-stomping biker anthem for the series. Co-written by Jingle Punks, “Ride On” will be shortened for use on the show. Here’s the new music video:
