Ducati is recalling 5,962 of its Multistrada 1200 motorcycles from the model years 2010-2014 to remedy a throttle cable issue.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports “the inner sleeve of the opening throttle cable may move and prevent the full closing of the throttle,” causing “an increased risk of crash.”
Dealers will replace the upper throttle cover free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on May 11.
The recall notice is posted here.
