Ducati Reveals Revamped Multistrata

Ducati began rolling out its 2013 lineup today by unveiling a remodeled Multistrata. The sport touring bike has a revised look, a second generation Testastretta engine and some additional upgraded features. The new Multistrata will get its first public showing at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany early next month and will be in dealer showrooms in December.

Torrington Thunder is a little more than a week away and RIDE-CT.com has been working to expand the motorcycle display hosted by “The Republican-American” and the website.

Today, Mustang Seats founder Al Simmons agreed to loan a 1953 Mustang Special so folks will be able to get a good look at the pint-sized bike that was produced in California from the end of World War II to the mid-1960s. Simmons collects Mustangs. Here’s a shot of him taken earlier this year with one of the Mustangs.

Torrington Thunder is set for Sept. 28 in downtown Torrington from 5 to 9 p.m.

An entrepreneur in Nashua, NH has come up with a new trike design that looks less like a trike and more like a motorcycle. Steve Young says his design preserves the sensation of riding a two-wheeler. The “Nashua Telegraph” has the story here.
