Ducati factory workers in Bologna, Italy this week got see what the rest of us won’t be able to gaze upon in person until 2015 – a new Scrambler model.
Upon arriving at work on Monday, employees were greeted by music and a beach setting, complete with surf boards, food and a big yellow container. Shortly thereafter, they were treated to a private reveal of the model prototype.
In a press release, the company said the decision to show off the Scrambler to its workers “underlines the appreciation it has of its workforce, regarding it as the beating heart of the company.” Ducati says the new model “is created from the same core values that contributed to an important period in the company’s history during the 60s and 70s.”
No official pictures of the Ducati Scrambler have been released, but the accompanying screen shots of a teaser video for the bike provide some clues. Ducati has also developed a website dedicated to the Scrambler.
