The owner of Pinellas Powersports in Pinellas Park, FL has come up with a well-timed gimmick to sell his Harley-Davidson, Honda and Kawasaki motorcycles: Buy a bike, get a free hand gun. A commercial for the dealership has people talking, and hundreds of people have called the store to voice opinions. Bay News 9 has the story here.

The definition of “biker” has changed. Oxford University Press in the U.K., which publishes the Oxford English Dictionary, has bowed to pressure from riders and dropped a definition of a biker as “a motorcyclist, especially one who is a member of a gang: a long-haired biker in dirty denims.” “The Telegraph” has the story here.
