Harley-Davidson Out With A Race-Spec Model That Costs $110,000

MILWAUKEE – If you’ve ever thought that Harley-Davidson motorcycles are expensive (and who hasn’t?), well, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. The company on Tuesday announced the release of a limited-edition, King of the Baggers-inspired 2025 CVO Road Glide RR with a price tag of $110,000.

Harley-Davidson calls the 153-horsepower model “the most powerful and dynamic production motorcycle ever offered in the company’s 122-year history.” It will be “limited to 131 hand-assembled, serialized” examples that will be available through select dealers.

Heck, for $110,000, you could buy 10 copies of its Nightster model, maybe 11 if you got a package deal.

“Taking inspiration from the track and onto the street, the Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is truly the ultimate in performance,” said Jochen Zeitz, who is chairman, CEO and president Harley-Davidson. “With this limited series of motorcycles, we’ve taken all the lessons from the track and created the pinnacle of street-legal bagger performance.”

With its whopping price tag, the CVO Road Glide RR further moves Harley-Davidson away from the common man. This model is firmly aimed at the oligarch class.

As far as specs go, it has an “exclusive powertrain.” Harley-Davidson said, “A new Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin engine is the most-powerful Milwaukee-Eight variant ever offered factory-installed in a production Harley-Davidson model, rated at 153 peak horsepower (114 kW) at 5750 RPM and 150 lb. ft. (204 Nm) peak torque at 4750 RPM.”

The company said the displacement of 131 cubic inches (2,147cc) is the same as that of the engines powering the Harley-Davidson Factory Team competition Road Glide motorcycles.
