Hudson Valley Motorcycles Adds Alta Line

OSSINING, NY – Hudson Valley Motorcycles has expanded its lineup of new motorcycles by adding the Alta Motors brand of electric bikes. Alta joins the existing lines of Ducati, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

Based in Brisbane, CA, Alta Motors offers two models – the Redshift MX for motocross and the Redshift supermoto, which is street legal. The SM weighs in at 283 pounds and has a 50-mile range. MSRP is $15,495. The MX weighs 267 pounds and is priced at $14,995.

Hudson Valley Motorcycles is Alta Motors’ first dealership in New York and one of 24 nationally. The company doesn’t yet have a dealership in New England.

“We at HVMC are extremely excited to rejuvenate off-road motorcycling in the Tri-State area. Over the years, stricter regulations and an ever-growing population have continually limited places for enthusiasts to enjoy off-road riding. We believe that the Alta Motors Redshift MX and SM offer our customers a new way to keep this sport we all love alive and thriving,” said Hudson Valley Motorcycles general manager Richie Alexander Jr. in a press release.

Alta Motors director of sales Jeremy Cleland added, “HVMC are enthusiasts first and foremost, and it shows in the dealership experience. With a rich and versatile history of racing, bike customization and fostering relationships throughout the riding community, this is an awesome addition to the Alta dealer network.”
