Indian Day Attracts Dozens Of Springfield’s Best

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

The 2nd annual Indian Day at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History attracted dozens of vintage machines from across New  England on Sunday. Hundreds of other riders showed up to admire the iconic motorcycles that were once made in the Massachusetts city.
Indian Day brought together a cross section of Indian models – from 101 Scouts from the late 1920s and early 1930s to Chiefs from the 1940s. There were sidecars and trikes, bikes in pristine shape to ones in need of serious restoration.

RIDE-CT next Saturday in “The Republican-American” will more from Indian Day.
