A 76-year-old woman from Ludlow, MA has been ordered to serve two years probation after pleading guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle in a crash last year that killed a Connecticut rider.

Bradford R. Storozuk, 36, of Stafford died as a result of severe head injuries suffered in the April 2, 2012 crash in Wilbraham, MA, leaving a wife and two children. Josephine T. Zucco had faced a motor vehicle homicide charge, but reached a plea agreement. Under her probation, Zucco may not operate a motor vehicle or seek to have her driver’s license reinstated.

Brad StorozukStorozuk was riding his 2011 Harley-Davidson on Boston Road when Zucco, driving a 2008 Buick Lucerne, pulled into his path when she turned left into the Boston Road Plaza. Storozuk hit the passenger side of the vehicle and was thrown about 40 feet. Investigating officer John Siniscalchi told “The Republican” newspaper that while Storozuk was wearing a helmet, it apparently wasn’t DOT-certified and it came off before he hit the pavement.
