New Comedy Show Mocks Motorcycle Culture

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

“Motorcycle” and “comedy” are words that aren’t often linked. Except for the movie “Wild Hogs” and the antics of Eric Von Zipper (played marvelously by Harvey Lembeck) in the beach movies of the 1960s, there isn’t much in the way of motorcycle comedy.

Coming soon, though, is an f-bomb-filled,  13-part web comedy called “The Clandestine.” Shot in Belfast, it’s “about a group of geeks who get thrown into the world of bad ass bikers, killer bikes, and sexy chicks … and barely escape with their balls intact.”

Based on the trailer, it looks like fun. Judge for yourself:

A little more than a month ago RIDE-CT.com mentioned that Toyota planned to introduce a “personal mobility vehicle” called the i-Road at the Geneva Car Show. Well, the show’s this week and Toyota is now out with a video, although the vehicles in it certainly look computer generated:

RIDE-CT.com’s take? Very cool. The electric-powered i-Road reportedly has a range of 30 miles and plugs into any outlet for a charge. Perfect for grocery shopping.
