New Models: Four Returning from Honda

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

Unlike other motorcycle companies, which routinely unveil their lineups at one time, and then maybe follow up with a new model or two during the year, Honda engages in a frustrating habit of revealing its lineup for a model year in dribs and drabs over the course of many months.

Here it is February and Honda has finally just announced that four models (three cruisers and one adventure bike) from last year will return for 2011 – the Sabre (pictured in blue), the Stateline, the Shadow Aero and the NT700V (pictured in black). Honda previously announced the new CBR250R and CB1000R models.

“These 2011 machines will bring considerable depth and variety to our dealers’ showrooms this spring,” said Bill Savino, Honda’s Powersports press manager. “Even more good news is in the works as we begin to announce 2012 models shortly.”

Here’s hoping that Honda decides to bring the CB1100 and the Crossrunner to the United States.
