Harley-Davidson today took the wraps off of a new logo for the Harley Owners Group. More than 100,000 H.O.G.members worldwide voted online and selected a new logo for the organization.

Changes to the logo include bringing the company’s bar and shield logo into the heart of the design and the eagle shifting its gaze in a new direction. The company is now offering both the new and “Heritage” H.O.G. logos on patches and other merchandise.

H.O.G. has more than one million members and more than 1,400 chapters in 140 countries. More info on H.O.G. may be found here.

It still can take a while for news to make it across the pond. It’s old news now, but more than a week after the event, Norton finally got around sending out some pictures of Prince William1-HRH 1 chatting with Norton chairman Stuart Garner at the recent London Motorcycle Show.

They’re pictured here with a red Commando 961 Sport, but HRH the Duke of Cambridge also checked out and sat on a Norton SG2 factory Isle of Man TT bike.

The press release also stated that Prince William expressed interest in the growth and future of the British-made Norton brand as well as the company efforts regarding the Isle of Man TT.
