Care to bet that we put more miles on our bikes this year simply because of rising gas prices? It cost $61 to fill the Ford Ranger last week – a new high. While that’s a pittance compared to what it costs to fill larger pickups, especially diesel-powered ones, that amount already has me taking a bike instead of the truck whenever possible. The math is so convincing – 15 mpg versus 40+ mpg.
