warm up for good, most every task of consequence will be done and there will be more time for riding…
Care to bet that we put more miles on our bikes this year simply because of rising gas prices? It cost $61 to fill the Ford Ranger last week – a new high. While that’s a pittance compared to what it costs to fill larger pickups, especially diesel-powered ones, that amount already has me taking a bike instead of the truck whenever possible. The math is so convincing – 15 mpg versus 40+ mpg.
One growing segment of the powersports business is electric motorcycles. Sales are climbing.
From across the pond, some survey data suggests that drivers who know someone who rides are more apt to notice motorcycles on the road. Predictably, that’s prompted a public service campaign to raise drivers’ awareness of motorcyclists:
