For the second time in less than a year, “Cycle World” magazine has been sold. Hearst Corp. yesterday announced the sale of the magazine to Bonnier Corp., which publishes “Popular Science,” “Field & Stream” and “Parenting” magazine. The two companies reported that “Cycle World’s” staff will remain intact. Maybe this sale will bring some stability to the mag.

Had a funny incident last night when visiting set-up at the Harwinton Fair. I was wearing a “RIDE-CT” T-shirt and a guy came up and asked about it. I explained about the RIDE-CT column in “The Republican-American” and about this website. He replied that I should do “RIDE-ME” for Maine. In hindsight, seeing “RIDE-ME” typed out, he may have been kidding and I just didn’t get it at the moment. Or, maybe, he was actually from Maine and thinks the state deserves motorcycle coverage. Whichever, I’m certainly chuckling this morning having finally gotten that he may have been joking.
