Eight surgeries and more than $1 million in medical bills later, Stephen A. Petruska of Dudley, MA is now talking about the accident last April 29 that changed his life forever. Petruska, 26, was riding his Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide when a 19-year-old girl, who was reportedly eating pizza while driving, attempted to make a left-hand turn and took him out. The revived Norton brand, which has its North American base of operations in Beacon Falls, CT, has announced that it plans to compete in the 2012 Isle of Man TT Senior race with a new race bike. Piloting the Norton over the 37.7-mile course will be Ian Mackman.

The saying goes that “it’s the ride, not the destination” that matters, but one destination that motorcyclists may want to avoid is Boston. The results of a new survey done by CheapHotels.org lists Boston as the city with the most expensive lodging at $194 per night. Finishing second was New York where the price was only $172. The website sampled prices in 30 cities nationwide.
