Plans are proceeding for a New England Trike Talk Rally on the weekend of Aug.23-24, with the Quality Inn in Torrington, CT serving as rally headquarters. More than four-dozen trike enthusiasts have already registered for the rally, which will include a Saturday night banquet at PSam’s Bar & Grill at Eastwood Country Club.
Organizer John Luciano (pictured) reports that in addition to a half-dozen Harley-Davidson trikes, four Honda Gold Wing Trikes and three Can-Am Spyders, there will also be trikes made from numerous other brand bikes. The group expects to hit downtown Kent, CT between 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 24).

Indian may now have a line-up of three attractive 2014 models, but it still doesn’t have a dealership in Connecticut. The closest dealer is Indian of New England in Worcester, MA. However, Indian’s website now lists Menneto Powersports in Clifton Park, NY (just north of Albany) as a new outlet for the company’s products.
RIDE-CT.com called owner Mike Menneto for details today, but was told wasn’t back yet from Sturgis, SD, where he went to witness the company’s unveiling of the new Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftain models on Saturday night.
