Harley-Davidson and Marvel have teamed up again. The companies today confirmed that Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff character (a.k.a. Black Widow) will ride a Project Livewire electric motorcycle in the upcoming movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the announcement coming at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Another Harley-Davidson – a Street 750 – was featured earlier this year in the Marvel motion picture “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
“Our partnership with Marvel continues to provide thrilling platforms to showcase our latest innovations to existing and new fans of the brand,” said Dino Bernacchi, Director of U.S. Marketing at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “Not one, but two bikes will be featured in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ – Project LiveWire and the all-new Street 750.”
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be in theatres on May 1, 2015. Project Livewire, the name given by Harley-Davidson to its new electric effort, is currently being shown around the country in an effort by the company to get feedback from consumer. The model is not for sale.
