Canton Cycles Closed

Happened to drive by Canton Cycles in Winsted yesterday, or should I say the former of home of Canton Cycles. Real estate signs were displayed in the showroom window and out front, and the bikes were gone. It’s sad when a dealership closes. It’s even sadder when the dealership was owned by someone as honest and nice as Ralph DeLuco, whose passion for and knowledge of motorcycles was appeciated by all of his customers. I bought three bikes from Canton Cycles and was always treated fairly, and I stopped in to kick tires and make pit stops more times than I can count. For many area riders, Canton Cycles will certainly be a case of “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” Very sad.
