It not often that newspapers pay attention go motorcyclists, much less write about them in an inspiring manner. “The Republican-American,” of course, has the RIDE-CT column but most papers’ acknowledgement of riders consists of stories about us getting killed or injured in accidents.
However, Karina Bland, a reporter for “The Arizona Republic” in Phoenix (where I worked as a columnist between 1979 and 1989), spent countless hours with members of the local Bikers Against Child Abuse chapter for a truly uplifting story that appeared recently. It’s a “must-read” and can be found here.
