Talk About A Dealer Markup – Ducati(s) Selling For $110,000

TAMPA, FL – It was a pricey special edition model from Ducati and Lamborghini that was first revealed in September 2022. The limited-run 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini was described as “the most alluring Streetfighter that Ducati has ever produced.”

With only 630 units slated to be assembled – at an MSRP of $68,000 – it wasn’t a motorcycle designed for the average buyer. An additional “Speciale Clienti” version of 63 examples were also to be made and “only available to Lamborghini customers” for $83,000.

Just how many of either version were built or purchased since deliveries began in May 2023 isn’t known, but Ducati Tampa Bay in Tampa currently has one for sale with zero miles on the odometer. The asking price is $109,995. It appears in a Craigslist ad posted for New York City where RIDE-CT’s Bob Rosen spotted it.

The ad calls the Streetfighter a “… motorcycle that perfectly embodies the values of style, sportiness, and exclusivity shared by the two brands with a perfect combination of technology, performance, and design.”

Meanwhile, much closer to New England, Hudson Valley Motorcycles in Ossining, NY has a Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini with only six miles for sale on consignment for $110,000.

The Streetfighter has a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine with a power output of 208 horsepower, so not only is a fat wallet required to buy one, so are some superior riding skills.

What’s more striking than the model’s looks is the dealer markup – a whopping $42,000 above list price. For a leftover. Figuring the dealer price for the model was much less than $68,000, Ducati Tampa Bay is seemingly trying to score a windfall for motorized eye candy.

The person to contact if you’re interested is Ducati Tampa Bay general sales manager Chase Morsberger at 813-508-6105.
