The Shop in Winsted Celebrates Opening

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

It was a perfect day for riding and an upbeat destination was The Shop in Winsted – Keith Bruno’s repair and  service center which officially opened at its new location at 920 Main Street after months of haggling with local authorities.

Bruno (second from right in above photo) greeted customers and friends who rode in for the the afternoon event.

And, yes, there was food for the open house. Chuck Pickert of Back Wood Grilling in Sheffield, MA brought 100 pounds of pork and prepared a delicious smokey onion and mushroom gravy.

Among the eye-catching bikes was a 1965 Harley-Davidson Panhead belonging to Mike White of Canaan.
