The Year in Pictures: January

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

With 2012 winding down, it’s time to look back on some of the images and events that RIDE-CT.com captured during the year. (OK,  I admit it, the week between Christmas and New Year’s produces very little news and a “look back” is better than no updates.)

The highlight of January is always the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in New York. This year, Triumph used it to unveil the Explorer, while Honda brought out the NC700X. Victory pulled the cover off of The Judge with a bit of pizzazz…

Don’t know whether it was the model (the blonde one) or the color of the bike, but I did like the snapshots of The Judge immensely…

The IMS featured a “show within a show” with the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show. This Triumph bobber was certainly good looking…

Appearing at the show was bike-builder Paul Teutel Jr. Has “American Chopper” really come to end after 10 years?

The next IMS isn’t that far away. It runs Jan. 18-20 at the Jacobs J. Javits Convention Center.
