Triumph Tiger 800 XC – For Real

For months, Triumph has been staging an online video teaser campaign for its upcoming 2011 Tiger 800 models – for one street use, the other more dirt friendly. It eventually reached the point where Trumpet enthusiasts were screaming, “Enough! Just show us the damn bike.” Triumph apparently acquiesced this week by releasing a single photo, which (to be honest) has been snagged from another web site. From the looks, Triumph is directly targeting BMW’s F800GS with the two new adventure models. The determining factor of the bikes’ success may be the price, and no word yet on what the two models will cost. Triumph is expected to officially unveil the Tiger 800 next month.
