More than 2,000 Victory motorcycles from the 2013 through 2015 model years are being recalled to replace fuel pumps that may have been “incorrectly crimped during manufacturing, which may result in the fuel pump seizing.”
Eleven models are affected, including 2013-14 Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Vegas Eight Ball, 2014 Cross Country Eight Ball, Cross Road Eight Ball, Ness Cross Country, 2013 Hardball and 2015 Gunner.
The NHTSA says, “If the fuel pumps seizes, the motorcycle will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.” The recall is expected to begin Jan. 19. Victory is notifying owners and will replace the fuel pump on 2,341 motorcycles free of charge.
