Videos Promote Motorcycle Safety

For the past few years, Northern Ireland’s Department of the Environment has been engaged in a “Share the Road to Zero” campaign to reduce road deaths. It’s now out with some new videos promoting motorcycle safety. One is for drivers and warns them to be aware of approaching riders.

Another reminds riders of the dangers of excessive speed.

The overall campaign couldn’t be more basic. If offers five rules to follow when out on the road – follow the country’s Highway Code, never ever drink and drive, always pay attention and stay alert, and always wear a seat belt. A video from two years ago reminds everyone of the consequences of not following the rules.
