It’s not a motorcycle, but to call it a car would be a bit misleading, too. From the just-released picture from Toyota, it looks a bit like an enclosed Can-Am Spyder, although it’s impossible to tell how many wheels are in the rear. The Spyder has only one.
The company is calling the new electric vehicle that it plans to unveil at the Geneva Motor Show next month the “i-Road.” It will reportedly seat two people in a rider and pillion fashion.
A press release issued by Toyota along with the lone picture says the i-Road “is a compact, fun and emissions-free personal mobility concept capable of transporting two people in an urban environment.”

After reading yesterday’s post about Billy Joel jamming at a vintage bike meet in Florida, reader and motorcycle dealership consultant Bob Rosen sent along some picture of Joel’s 20th Century Cycles museum in Oyster Bay, NY.
The museum has about 50 vintage bikes on display, the most valuable being a 1952 Vincent Rapide. There’s also a 1977 Harley-Davidson XLCR cafe bike and a 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado.
20th Century Cycles is currently closed for the winter, but is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday during the riding season.
