Yes, Harley Attended the IMS

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

NEW YORK – No, RIDE-CT.com isn’t ignoring Harley-Davidson’s presence at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show. It’s just that Harley didn’t have a new bike model to unveil as it has the past few years.  The Motor Company did have a huge display that attracted a lot of attention.

A popular part of Harley’s exhibit was an interactive element that allowed riders to sit on a stationary Harley and shift through the gears. Cohort Steve Smith and I hung out and watched the riders and rider wannabes. Steve immediately spotted the bad technique of this rider (below), who spent much of her cruise looking down instead of looking ahead to see where she was going.

The best part for RIDE-CT.com was finally meeting and having an informal chat with Harley’s PR guru Mike Morgan. We’ve traded emails for years but hadn’t met face-to-face until the IMS. No, Mike wasn’t taking a lunch order.
