Bikers Try to Avert a State Police Roadblock

It’s called the Ride of the Century, or ROC, and hundreds of motorcyclists in the St. Louis area participated earlier this month. KSDK-TV said the  Missouri Highway Patrol arrested 13 people, issued 92 citations and handed out 95 warnings. At one point, the highway patrol tried to rein in the riders with a roadblock, prompting some of the motorcyclists to flee. One of the riders had a helmetcam, captured what happened on video, and posted it on YouTube with a commentary that stated the police “induced panic” and caused “chaos and commotion.”
