Bikes Along the Road

By Bud Wilkinson of RIDE-CT.com

It was a bit too hot yesterday afternoon to enjoy riding much, but a morning spin to Toymake’s Cafe in Falls Village turned up (as usual) some noteworthy vintage models, including two Ducatis.

Mark Young of Guilford rode in a black 1975 Ducati 860 GT that he’s owned for 10 years.

Matthew (last name withheld by request) of Litchfield arrived a short time later on a “mostly stock’ bright yellow 1970 Ducati 450 Jupiter.

Tom Bordonaro of Winsted also rode a bike that you don’t see on the road every day – a 1981 Honda CBX. More on it Saturday in the RIDE-CT newspaper column.

Henry Young of Guilford was aboard a 1978 Suzuki GS1000, the first year that model was built.

And Tom MacBurnie of Winsted was showing off his 1986 Yamaha VMax.
