There’d be no blaming the Piano Man if he’s pissed following a weekend break-in at his Long Island home on Centre Island.
TMZ reports that Billy Joel called the cops on Monday morning after discovering that someone had smashed a glass door leading to his garage and then vandalized 12 motorcycles and a home office.
Joel has a separate motorcycle museum nearby in Oyster Bay called 20th Century Cycles. Nassau County police told the “New York Post” that the break-in occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday.
TMZ said the extent of the damage is unclear and no property was reportedly taken. The gossipy website reports that police took a statement from the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and are investigating.
