BMW Motorrad today announced that a new bagger will be joining its motorcycle lineup. The K 1600 B will utilize the brand’s inline, six-cylinder engine that produces 160 horsepower and a maximum torque of 185 Nm. It will feature fixed hard bags and chrome-plated silencers.
The new model will also have a small electronically-adjustable windshield, wind deflectors, and a low rear frame for reduced vehicle height and dropped passenger seat height. It also has Shift Assistant Pro for clutch-less shifting and, as an option, reverse assist.
The K 1600 B will offer three riding modes – rain, road and dynamic. Standard equipment includes ABS, heated grips and seat heating, and cruise control.
BMW did not provide an MSRP or indicate when it will be in showrooms.
