More than 35,000 riders have visited RIDE-CT.com so far this year, a readership increase of 65 percent over 2012, yet only 233 riders (and friends) have “liked” RIDE-CT on Facebook. That’s probably because most readers probably don’t realize that the website has a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter.
So, in an effort to boost the website’s Facebook profile, we’re launching a one-week contest with a copy of artist and author Paul Jamiol’s new children’s book “Bikers Are Animals 4” as the prize.
The rules are very simple. Go to our Facebook page and “like”it. Next Monday morning all the names will be tossed into a hat and a winner will be selected.
Why bother? Well, by following RIDE-CT.com on Facebook, you’ll be alerted to new posts on the website as well as breaking motorcycle news. What you won’t be bothered by are excessive or unnecessary posts. We all get enough spam email and social media ads these days.
The goal for the contest is to double the number of Facebook “likes,” so do it now!
