Could Sale of Midtown Kawasaki Be Near?

A few months ago, RIDE-CT.com heard that a multi-brand suitor was pursuing Midtown Kawasaki, located at 1864 Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill. Nothing transpired, though, and the rumors eventually quieted – until today when an attempted check of the dealership’s website showed it to be out of service A few phone calls revealed that a change appears imminent, with a sale reportedly possible by the end of the month.

While the dealer grapevine suggests that New England Cycle Center, 75 Liebart Road in Hartford, may be on the verge of acquiring the Kawasaki line, it’s unclear just who – New England Cycle Center or someone else – might be buying Midtown Kawasaki.

Whatever transpires shouldn’t be of major concern to Kawasaki owners as the brand is already well-represented at other dealerships in the state.
