Driver Gets Only 60 Days for Killing Rider

A 26-year-old Brooklyn mother received a wrist-slap sentence of just 60 days in jail yesterday for the 2010 death of a Ducati rider on a street in lower Manhattan. Naisha Sutton was driving on a learner’s permit when she made an illegal left turn off of the West Side Highway that caused the accident. She later fled the scene as 27-year-old Ronen Katz lay dying. “The New York Post” has the story here.
