Kaplan Cycles Becomes Ducati Dealer

ROCKVILLE, CT – The Ducati website doesn’t yet list him as a dealer, but a recent YouTube video by Ken Kaplan, founder of Kaplan Cycles and the New England Motorcycle Museum, proclaims that his operation is now selling Italian-made Ducati models. Ducati joins GasGas on the showroom floor.

“This was something I’ve been working toward for years,” said Kaplan in the video as he stood behind a Ducati 1199 Panigale model. “I’ve always believed Ducati belonged here at Kaplan Cycles alongside our motorcycle museum and everything we’ve built over the last 15 years.”

Calling Ducati “one of the world’s greatest motorcycle brands,” Kaplan described the addition of the brand as being the realization of dream. Kaplan Cycles joins New Haven Powerports in New Haven, CT in selling Ducati models in Connecticut.

The showroom for Kaplan Cycles Ducati will be located on the first floor of what was a former mill. “It will be the largest destination Ducati dealership, I believe, in the country. It’s going to be over 12,000 square feet,” said Kaplan, reporting that Kaplan Cycles is now taking pre-orders for Ducati models.
